 This was the project I taught, using oil pastels and watercolor paints. I enjoyed doing this lesson and teaching it. I tried tying it to science, and I think it could be a fun tie in to any animal science, as well.

 Description: We did an introduction project by tracing our footprint and then decorated it with multiple types of media. I traced my footprint on pink paper, because pink is my favorite color, drew a beach scene because I love the beach (specifically Florida), and on the top left of my foot, I wrote my name in Braille using colored pencil, because I learned Braille while working at the school for the blind.  Extension Activity: Students in biology can use this activity to illustrate their understanding of different animal life cycles

 This is my Van Gogh project. I really enjoyed it and think that it turned out pretty well. I do wish that I had used smaller strips of more shades of blue for the sky and that I added more swirls to the mountains, but I just couldn't get them right,
